2025 Schedule now available

The Lakers are excited to be one step closer to the 2025 season with the release of the regular season game schedule this morning.

The team will open the WLA season on the road in Langley to face the Thunder on Wednesday, May 21st with their home opener occurring two days later vs the Coquitlam Adanacs.

The season gets off to a fast start and the Lakers will hit the midway point of their regular season after their game at home on June 20th. Only three of their first nine games will take place at home giving them home floor advantage for most of the back half of the season. Seven of the Lakers' home games will occur on Fridays with two taking place on Tuesdays in July.

The Lakers will play back-to-back games three times in 2025 including two consecutive road games vs Langley and New West on June 4th and 5th, a home game vs the Salmonbellies followed by a trip to Coquitlam on June 13th and 14th, and hosting the Victoria Shamrocks before heading to the island to play the Timbermen on July 4th and 5th.

The regular season closes out for the Lakers on Friday, July 22nd at home vs the Shamrocks.

Despite significant construction around Bill Copeland Arena, the City of Burnaby has assured the team and the WLA that the arena will be accessible to all fans this season.
